Thanks to its new state-of-the-art production units, HALYVOURGIKI can manufacture products to meet any specification and requirement of the market. The Company’ s range of products includes:
- Steel for the reinforcement of concrete, smooth or ribbed, in straight bars (diameter: 8-40mm, length: up to 14m).
- Steel for the reinforcement of concrete and wire rod in coils, smooth or ribbed (diameter: 5.5-16mm, coil weight: up to 3000kg).
- Standard mesh types: O92, T92, T131, T188 and T196 as well as any other special requirement.
- Column mesh (8, 10 or 12mm diameter) and grids (8, 10 or 12mm diameter).
- Profiles comprising equal and unequal angles, channels, T-sections (tees), flats and squares.
- Billets of various grades (130mm x 130mm or 140mm x 140mm cross section in 6-12m lengths).
The steel for the reinforcement of concrete meets all European and International Standards as well as the new requirements for high ductility steel (category C) for the earthquake-resistant constructions. The transverse ribs of steel ensure high cohesion with concrete. It is characterised as weldable steel and is either a hot rolled product requiring no further treatment (vanadium steel) or a hot rolled product where hot rolling is followed directly by a heat treatment procedure.
